Reduce the glare and heat inside your car!
You probably know the feeling of being stuck inside of your car when it’s burning hot outside. The steering wheel is hot, the seat is hot, and even the seatbelt is hot.
But what if there was an easy way to cut down on the amount of glare (and therefore also heat) that could enter your vehicle from the sun? It turns out that there is such a way: by tinting your windows. Remember that old tattered tint is less effective and may need to have the old tint replaced.
Window tinting can help to reduce the glare and heat from the sun that enters your car by up to 70%, and it can also cut down on the amount of ultraviolet rays that enter by 99%. The UV rays in particular are very harmful to the interior of your car because they can cause the upholstery to fade away and crack.
There are also a multitude of different options available for auto window tinting, including several that we offer here at Window Tinting Sarasota.
The first option is the OEM option, which is simply what’s offered by the manufacturer. The manufacturer OEM does usually not offer you the same privacy or strength as many other options like we have. After all, your car probably already has the OEM option but you desire something else, right?
The next option will be to go with carbon films. These are non-metal tinting that were designed for vehicles that have sensitive electronic antennas that were built into the glass. This way, your GPS, phone, computer, and radio will all be able to function properly without interruptions. In contrast to this, films or tinting jobs that have metal in them will cause interruptions with the signal.
Today, carbon is considered to represent the next generation of window films on cars. Besides not interrupting your electronic signals, they also do an excellent job in resisting UV rays, offering you plenty of privacy, and just being very durable over the long term.
The next option will be the metallic option. Metallic films offer you the very best UV ray reduction and heat control, even better than carbon. Unfortunately, being composed of metal they can result in interruptions to your radio or phone service, so they won’t be the best choice if you do a lot of communicating within your car.
Next option will be infrared films. These are non-fading and non-corrosive films that are among the most durable of window tinting options. They also offer excellent heat control and UV ray rejection, and if you have any states that have very tight window tinting regulations or laws, the UV ray films will definitely be a good choice.
Any of these options will be a good choice for keeping your car cooler and the harmful UV radiation out, and we can also do any of them here at Window Tinting Sarasota.
